Following the fantastic piece of work we did at Xmas with Fairways, on the Homeless Rucksacks, we now have our next charity campaign which we hope the whole SSA family will help us support. We have agreed to support the ‘Kits for Kids in Zanzibar’ project in association with The Ameir Foundation.
What is the project?
The ‘Kits for Kids in Zanzibar’ is a project that works closely with 3 schools in Zanzibar, helping to support orphan children with sports/football kits, as well as running sports days & tournaments. There are three schools the Ameir Foundation supports in Zanzibar:
1) Creative Education Foundation school Zanzibar
2) ICLA Nursery & Primary school
3) Youth Light Foundation.
We hope that you will all support us in this project by donating old football kits/sports tops to us, ready to be shipped out to Zanzibar. We will be collecting these donations on Saturday mornings at Goals, Portsmouth (9-12pm). We massively would appreciate any donations to this amazing cause.
