We would like you all to join us by congratulating Ollie Penny for successfully signing his contract this afternoon with Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge. Ollie will be a part of the U9 Academy team for the 23/24 season.
Ollie & his family have been fully immersed in our programme right the way from Tiny Tots, Fun & Futures, High Performance and of course our Travel Team.
At SSA we are strong believers that players should be playing in all positions of the pitch to develop a collective understanding of the game. Ollie is a prime example of why this is so important, after being identified & signed by Chelsea as a goalkeeper as part of 1 in 8 games as a GK for us, despite playing out on pitch for us 90% of the time.
Everyone at SSA is immensely proud of your achievements Ollie and we cannot wait to watch you develop at this massive club.
